Life in Limbo: Afghan asylum seeker back in UK amid govt court challenge
An Afghan asylum seeker, who faced Taliban death threats, is back in Britain after the UK government lost a lengthy court case over his plea for safety.
22yo Samim Bigzad was threatened by the Taliban because of his contacts with the Afghan government and American military and fled in 2015.
He was detained after Britain's Home Office dismissed his asylum claim. Samim was finally flown to Kabul despite a UK High Court injunction which meant he should not have been sent.
