IMF approves $12bn bailout for Egypt

The International Monetary Fund has given final approval to a $12bn bailout for Egypt.

While almost three billion dollars have already been sent to Egypt's Central Bank, the rest will come with conditions.

The government is banking on the cash to help it revive the flatlining economy.

Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Washington, where the IMF met on Friday.
