Syria war: White Helmets volunteers meet Hollande

Volunteer rescuers from Syria known as "The White Helmets” have met French President Francois Hollande in Paris. Since the civil defence organisation started in 2013, it has saved more than 62,000 people in the war ravaged Syria. They have asked for humanitarian assistance and are calling on the international community to ensure a lasting ceasefire in Syria.
